1. Firestone Walker ‘OPAL Dry Hopped Saison’ – This interpretation of the rustic Wallonian Saison style is a harmonious blend of rustic grains, spicy yeast and unique sauvignon blanc tones. Inviting lemon grass and gooseberry meet peppery spice and fresh grain aromas. Spicy Belgian yeast create a complex yet dry and refreshing canvas with splashes of citrus and stone fruit with a bright tropical white wine finish. Hop bitterness is assertive yet harmonious rounding out slightly tart and refreshing. 7.5% ABV/Paso Robles, CA
2. Goose Island ‘The Ogden’ Belgian Style Tripel – This beer is Goose Island’s tribute to William Ogden, the city’s first mayor. This is dry hopped with American Citra® and Brewer’s Gold hops to add spicy, tropical flavors. Then fermented it with a unique Belgian yeast to give it a bold, complex palate. 9% ABV/Chicago, IL
3. Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. ‘Pride of Texas Pale Ale’ – Hoppy and bold, yet smooth and thirst quenching. Pride of Texas cans are perfect for any outdoor gathering or activity where bottles are frowned upon. 5.8% ABV/Fort Worth, TX
4. Sixpoint ‘The Crisp PILZ’ – Crisp, floral, grassy, biscuity, light-bodied German Pilsener. This beer pours a golden yellow color. Aroma is sweet with yeasty, bready malts & a touch of citrus with spicy, grassy hops. A bitter taste of herbal hops and sweet oranges with notes of bready malts and grains. A nice balance between the hops and malts. 5.4% ABV/Brooklyn, NY
5. Sixpoint ‘Bengali IPA’ – This is a piney and delicious IPA which pours a golden orange color. With just a touch or a resin fruit hop characteristic, the malts in this IPA really compliment the variety of hops used. 6.5% ABV/Brooklyn, NY
6. Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck ‘Bacchus’ Flanders Oud Bruin – This is a distinctly tart Flanders Oud Bruin with cherry and leather notes. If you are a fan of sours, this is one you must try! Followed by a cheesy funk, this beer is very complex and delicious. 4.5% ABV/Ingelmunster, Belgium
7. Brouwerij Van Honsebrouck ‘St. Louis Gueuze Fond Tradition’ – Golden-blond, unfiltered, unsweetened. An extremely pure beer with a long history. A humble nose with a lot of fruit, dominated by young sour apples. An extremely dry aftertaste, which immediately demands another sip. A delicious thirst-quencher that reminds you of its history with every sip. 5% ABV/Ingelmunster, Belgium
8. Brasserie Lefebvre ‘Barbãr’ Blonde Honey Ale – Deep blonde in colour, Barbãr’s creamy head gives off a powerful aroma, unobtrusively scented with honey and accompanied by a bouquet of floral, spicy and citrus notes.The use of soft wheat gives a rounded attack, without heaviness. The sugar provided by the honey during the wort boiling undergoes fermentation and is converted into alcohol. Consequently, this is a soft but not sweet beer, with a touch of acidity which gives it freshness. The finish is full of finesse and without a bitter aftertaste. 8% ABV/Quenast, Belgium
9. Brasserie Lefebvre ‘Hopus Ale’ – Blonde with copper reflections, topped with a generous head, Hopus derives from a secret batch brewed for the marriage of Paul Lefebvre. It has a unique and original nose, a blend of vegetable, citrus and fruit notes. The attack is bold, with an intense bitterness accompanied by a plethora of hopped notes. On the palate, the fruity top-fermented aromas and the malted flavours perfectly balance the initial taste without masking it. The bitter aftertaste is persistent but not disturbing, powerful but not overwhelming, elegant but not opulent…in short, the perfect preparation for the next mouthful. 8.3% ABV/Quenast, Belgium
10. Deep Ellum Brewing Co. ‘Numb Comfort’ American Barleywine Ale – Deep Ellum fills the mash tun to the top with four of their favorite malts, dose it with just enough hops to balance, and then let English Ale yeast take it from there. After all that, they age a portion of this beer in rye whiskey barrels for even more complexity. 11.5% ABV/Dallas, TX
11. Rogue Farms ‘Honey Kolsch’ – This beer is dedicated to bees! Situated just across from 40 acres of Rogue hops, 119 Colonies of bees were carefully kept and fed and the honey was uncapped, extracted, filtered and finally infused into a refreshing Honey Kolsch Ale. 5.9% ABV/Newport, OR
12. Harpoon 100 Barrel Series Kettle Cup 2014 ‘Citra Victorious’ – Citra hops provide a juicy citrus character while Chico yeast yields a fruity aroma in this grapefruit-infused pale ale. The combination of Maris Otter, Pale, and C60 malt adds depth and a touch of sweetness and gives the beer its rich bronze color and medium body. The finish is all citrus. Dry hopped with Citra and Cascade and loaded with 96 pounds of grapefruit peel, Harpoon Citra Victorious is easygoing with a momentous citrus kick. 5.8% ABV/Boston, MA
13. Elevation Beer Co. ‘7437 Double IPA’ – Brewed with copious amounts of Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, and Galena, this double IPA is a celebration of one of beers most revered ingredients, hops. Pouring a solid gold with a fluffy white head this beer has huge notes of pineapple, grapefruit and pine. Brewed as a single release in honor of their 2nd year anniversary. 9% ABV/Poncha Springs, CO
15. Solid Rock Brewing Co. ‘Cornerstone Cream Ale’ – This is a smooth, soft-bodied ale exhibiting a light golden color, gentle hoppiness and a fruity aroma with a bright, clean finish. Brewed to be thirst quenching with a more moderate alcohol content than other brews, it is an excellent quaff to enjoy out on the lake on a hot afternoon.
