Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! While both locations will be closed as we spend the day deep in a turkey and pie-induced coma, we’ll be back open on Friday for normal business hours. Then, on Saturday 11/25 at Lamar, we’ll be breaking open the cellar at noon and selling some of our special bottles in celebration of Small Business Saturday. Come and feast your eyes on these fantastic aged beers…and maybe take a few of them home, too. We’ll also be selling Goose Island’s delicious BCBS (Stout and Barley Wine) starting at noon at both locations. One each per customer, so get yours before they’re gone.
And another week, another reminder about letting us know how much you love us via the Austin Beer Guide Awards. Of course, there are plenty of other categories to celebrate everything fantastic in our town’s world of beer. Check out this link and vote for your favorite brewery, beer, and *ahem* bottle shop and beer bar.
Have you picked up your Advent Calendar yet? You have? Good. For the rest of you, they’re sitting pretty at both of our locations. And we’ve also had plenty of walk-up purchases, so if you missed the pre-order deadline, you better get one now before the month starts and we sell out. Fight back against stale chocolate and get something you really want: 24 special beers to be enjoyed each day of December leading up to Christmas. So if you’ve been naughty or nice, you’ve earned this holiday treat.
