Epic Brewing has arrived! We have 9 different bombers in stock, ranging from IPAs to Belgian golden ales oak aged with various fruits (cherries, raspberries, peaches, etc). These are very interesting beers… make sure you grab one while you can!
We also just launched New Braunfels Brewing Company, who use 85% wheat in each of their recipes to make some very unique takes on traditional wheat styles. See below for details of their 4 brews.
Thanks for your continued support for our Beer Rescue Program. Here is an updated list of rescue beers.

Save The World Brewing, though only being less than a year old, continues to impress us with their well balanced and excellent Belgian-style beers. We’ve having Corey from the brewery in to sample the 5 beers we have in stock, and perhaps a bonus one that isn’t even in bottles yet! If you haven’t had any of their beers yet, you’re going to want to try them!
New Beers This Week
Omer Belgian Golden—Warm flavors of sweet orange and caramel are lifted off the palate in a remarkably dry, clean finish. With malts harvested in the Loire Valley, reconditioned in the bottle with champagne yeast, Omer is decadent without being heavy. And hey! It comes with a free Omer glass! 8% ABV/Bellegem, Belgium
Epic Brainless Belgian Golden—With notes of stone fruit and a healthy dose of spicy Belgian yeast, this Golden Ale is crisp and bright, and goes down all-too-easily. 8.4% ABV/Salt Lake City, UT
Epic Brainless on Peaches—For a fun twist, Epic takes their Belgian Golden and kicks it up a notch, adding fresh peach puree and aging it in French Chardonnay casks. Champagne yeast gives it a dry, clean finish. 10.7% ABV/Salt Lake City, UT
Epic Brainless on Cherries—This version of their Belgian Strong Ale is aged in Syrah and Cabernet barrels, and fresh cherries lend it a tart pucker that lasts through the finish. 10.10% ABV/Salt Lake City, UT
Epic Brainless IPA—This well-balanced BIPA artfully marries the zesty pop of American hops with the subtle spice of Belgian yeast. But make no mistake: this beer packs a punch! 6.5% ABV/Salt Lake City, UT
Epic Imperial IPA—Floral and piney hops dominate the flavor and aroma of this Imperial IPA. Balanced and smooth, with a hint of honey sweetness in the background. 9.6% ABV/Salt Lake City, UT
Epic Escape to CO IPA—Like the state intself, this IPA is dank, dank, dank, dank, DANK! Whole cone Mosaic and Apollo hops give this beer its… shall we say… distinct aroma. The first batch of beer brewed at Epic’s new location in Colorado, it truly does its name justice. 6.2% ABV/Denver, CO
Epic Brainless Raspberries–Hints of raspberry bubble gum flavors from the Belgian yeast and fresh raspberries tease the pallet in this Brainless offering. 9.8% ABV/Salt Lake City, UT
Epic Sour Apple Saison—Initial sweetness gives way to a dry, tart finish. Fresh apples spiced with coriander, grains of paradise, anise, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger, this is a perfect summer treat. 8.5% ABV/Salt Lake City, UT
Mikkeller Mosaic Imperial IPA—Packed to the brim with the tropical fruit flavor characteristic of Mosaic hops. Notes of mango, lemon, citrus, earthy pine, herbs, and stone fruit, with a hearty malt backbone to support those bold heaps of hoppy goodness. 8.9% ABV/Copenhagen, Denmark
MAD Umami—MAD beer is a collaboration between Mikkeller and renowned chef Jakob Mielcke. The aim is to create a series of beers reflective of the five elements of taste: sweet, salt, bitter, sour, and, of course, umami. Umami is savory and spicy and lives somewhere in the realm of the Imperial Pilsner. 6.3% ABV/Copenhagen, Denmark
DogfishHead Theobroma—Like Midas Touch before it, this brew was crafted as a re-imagining of an ancient recipe. In this case, the inspiration comes from the oldest known alcoholic chocolate drink, made in Honduras for special occasions. Literally “food of the gods”, Theobroma combines Aztec cocoa powder and cocoa nibs, honey, chilies and annatto. 9% ABV/Milton, DE
Real Ale Oktoberfest—Brewed with the highest quality German malt, hops, and yeast using traditional Bavarian brewing methods. The Munich and Vienna malts are the real stars of this smooth, copper-colored, medium-bodied brew. 5.7% ABV/Blanco, TX
New Braunfels Wasser Weiss – This 3% ABV Berliner Weisse is perfect for the hot August weather we’re suffering through. The wheat gives it a bit of chewiness (no, no THAT type of chewy-ness) and the lacto bacteria finishes with a dry tartness that is super refreshing. 3% ABV/New Braunfels, TX
New Braunfels Feuer Weiss – Since all of NBBC’s beers are made with 85% wheat, this is stylistically the most unique brew they offer. It is aggressively hopped like an IPA and Kelly the head brewer spikes the kettle and the fermenter each with a single ghost chili that adds just a very slight amount of heat on the back end. 7.2% ABV/New Braunfels, TX
New Braunfels Shiva’s Tears Weizenbock – Strong notes of toast and coffee come from the roasted malted wheat. The traditional weizen yeast lends a tiny bit of banana/clove notes at the back end, but definitely take a back seat to the roasted flavor. 8.5% ABV/New Braunfels, TX
Lobo Oktoberfest – This traditional Bavarian copper-toned Marzen from the heart of TX!
Saint Arnold Oktoberfest – Three different Munich-style malt varieties pair with Czech Saaz and Hallertauer hops to create a caramel color and slightly sweet finish. 6% ABV/Houston, TX
Ayinger Oktoberfest—Lightly sweet with a malty nose balanced with floral hops, and a soft dryness that comes from long maturation. A very traditional, balanced Marzen. 5.8% ABV/Aying, Germany
Paulaner Oktoberfest—Using traditional Bavarian brewing techniques, the Paulaner Oktoberfest was once brewed only seasonally, but due to popularity, it has been incorporated into the brewery’s regular line-up. Smooth and caramelly, with a slightly toasty finish. 5.8% ABV/Munich, Germany
Real Ale Grand Cru—New from the Real Ale Brewer’s Cut series, this farmhouse ale offers notes of orange and pepper on the nose, and on the palate, orange with hints of pear and stone fruit, moving into toffee, and concluding with a dry peppery finish. 8.5% ABV/Blanco, TX
Elevation Fanboy* – Elevation’s latest release is an incredible oak aged double IPA clocking in at 8.5% ABV. Citrusy notes from the hops complement the oak which lends some vanilla flavor. At 75 IBUs this will still pack a punch though. 8.5% ABV/Poncha Springs, CO *Arriving Friday
Elevation Wild Flowers* – This summer seasonal from Elevation pours a deep gold with a bright white head. Aroma notes of clove, lemon, ground pepper and rose petals slowly seep off the beer. The beer hits the palate with traditional Belgian spiciness and a well-rounded mouth feel and low bitterness. 7.8% ABV/Poncha Springs, CO *Arriving Friday
