What a week of big changes and additions it has been, especially here at the store. First off, the scaffolding FINALLY came down! Woohoo! As with other happenings making it feel like burdens have been lifted, the ability to look out the window without obstruction is adding to that vibe. Also worth noting, we got a crazy cool shipment of Lambic and Geuze beers in today. You’ll find links to those in the new beer section below. They’re definitely something you don’ t want to miss.
If you’re taking a little drinking or health break in January, don’t forget that we’ve got plenty options for you. From non-alcoholic to gluten free and all lower calories brews in between, they’re there. Note down in the new beers, we’ve now got options from Untitled Art and Lagunitas.

New and Returning Beers This Week
Back in Stock – Martin House True Love, Destihl Wild Sour Flanders Red, Hedgehog Happy Place, Equal Parts Entropic.
Elgin Meadery Pirumel 500mL – Pirumel is a super dry pear mead with a light crispness. 12%ABV
Elgin Intricatus Bourbon Barrel Mead – Intricatus is a semi-sweet to off dry mead made with wildflower honey harvested in central Texas. This mead opens with a bold vanilla bourbon profile with underlying but still assertive fruity notes of mango which give way to hints of caramel and a light oaky finish. After fermentation was complete, the mead spent a month in secondary steel tanks before being transferred to a single Bulleit bourbon barrel where it aged for almost three months. 14%ABV
Highboy El Dorado DIPA single 16oz – Single hop DIPA brewed with El Dorado hops.
Brazos Valley Laugh at the Moon 4pk – Russian Imperial Stout aged in Beam whiskey barrels.
Meridian Hive Honey – Delicious, refreshing and lightly carbonated crafted with the highest quality orange blossom honey. A perfect balance of subtle sweetness with a hint of citrus and a crisp finish. ABV 6.5%
Meridian Hive Peach – This flawless mead highlights The Hive’s expertise in creating a fusion of fruit, spice and orange blossom flavors. We brought out our A-game with this soon to be world dominating draft mead. Peach is a sweet, crisp, refreshing drink for any occasion. Lightly carbonated to deliver a peach punch that compliments a lasting hint of ginger. ABV 6.5%
Martin House Nebula – Bourbon Barrel-Aged Black and Red Currant Lactose Sour. 9.8% ABV
Hitachino Red Rice Ale – Pirumel is a super dry pear mead with a light crispness. 12%ABV
Hedgehog BA Fine & Dandy – Bourbon Barrel Aged English-style barleywine. 13.4% ABV
Deschutes Red Chair Pale Ale – The citrus punch of a big IPA, minus the one-dimensional hop sledgehammer. Select specialty malts round out the edges for a complex, copper-colored brew. 6.2%ABV
Texas Beer Co Bill Pickett Porter – A smooth, roasty porter. 6.1%ABV
Drie Fonteinen Armond & Gaston – Available in 1.5L, 750ml, and 375ml. 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze Cuvée Armand & Gaston is a blend of one-, two-, and three-year old traditional lambics, all brewed at Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen. Spontaneous fermentation, patient maturation in oak barrels, and continued evolution in the bottle result in a distinctively complex beer. No two bottlings are alike, as there are multiple variables in the blending process, a variety of barrel sizes and shapes, differences in aged lambic proportions, etc. 5.5%ABV
Drie Fonteinen Hommage 750mL – 3 Fonteinen Hommage is the result of macerating hand-picked whole sour cherries and raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion of 760 to 800 grams of raspberries and 200 to 240 grams of sour cherries per litre of lambic. This fruit lambic is then blended again with more lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit. Hommage is a bodied raspberry lambic beer, with an intense deep red forest fruit bouquet. This unfiltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no artificial juices, syrups, or sugars added. 6%ABV
Drie Fonteinen Oude Geuze – Available in 1.5l, 750ml, and 375ml. A true Geuze. A blend of 1, 2, and 3 year-old lambic unfiltered and unpasteurized and aged in the bottle for at least 6 months after blending. Continued fermentation in the bottle give this Geuze its famous champagne-like spritziness. The lambic that goes into it is brewed only with 60% barley malt, 40% unmalted wheat, aged hops, and water, spontaneously fermented by wild yeasts, and matured in oak casks. 6%ABV
Fair State Sastrugi – Double Dry-Hopped Hazy IPA collaboration with Burial Beer (Asheville, NC). Cool-fermented with an expressive German ale yeast, and hopped extensively with hand-selected Mosaic Cryo, Strata, and Columbus Cryo. Lightly dank, intensely tropical and fruity. 7%ABV
Jester King Black Currant Grisette – Brewed with well water, Texas malted barley, oats and raw wheat, and fresh and aged hops. Fermented in stainless steel with Jester King’s mixed culture. Refermented with black currants. 5.1%ABV

Untitled Art N/A Florida Weisse – Malt beverage with passionfruit puree added. Non-Alcoholic.

Austin Beerworks Megaflora– You’ve whacked through a thicket of typical IPAs. Now you come upon Megaflora, hanging on the vine like a ripe melon. With a simple tap, citrus disco balls spill out enveloping you in a cloud of fruity indulgence. You’re going to megafauna over it. Historic amounts of Sabro, El Dorado, Galaxy, Azacca, and Citra. 7.9%ABV
Family Business Rancho Relaxo– Sweet stout with Ancho Chili and Vanilla Bean. 5.8%ABV
