Believe it or not, the US importer for Chimay’s main American headquarters is just a stone’s throw from WhichCraft. We’ll be getting a brand new Chimay Abbey “single” next week as well, called the Doree. We’ll taste the whole Chimay lineup for free! Don’t miss it.
Thursday, July 16th
Wes Rost from Revolver will be in the house dishing out free samples of the core year-round beers from that little brewery in Granbury. Blood & Honey, High Brass Blonde, Bock and Sidewinder Pale Ale.

Radler (literally “cyclist,”) takes its name from active German sportsmen of a hundred years ago. 6 pack cans. 4.1% ABV/Kansas City, MO/Ratebeer 86/Availability: plenty/*Arriving Friday
Rahr Visionary 2015 Imperial Smoked Lager – This one should win an award for creepy label. The beer sounds interesting though. It’s the latest in the Rahr Visionary series and is an imperial smoked lager. Taste it for free tonight! 6-8pm. 9.4% ABV/Fort Worth, TX/No ratings yet/Availability: plenty
Destihl Bela – Generous amounts of Czech Saaz hops are used in this imperial Pilsner, showcasing the beautiful, spicy and earthy Noble hop aroma & flavor, with a hop bitterness that is balanced by a gentle warming, medium-body, oak tannins & residual malty sweetness that still finishes dry. 9.7% ABV/Bloomington, Indiana/Beer Advocate 81/Availability: plenty
Schilling Ciders is based in Seattle and just recently launched three new ciders in cans in Texas. Their Gold is moderately sweet and comes in 16oz 4-pack cans. Grapefruit Cider, also in 16oz cans, uses fresh grapefruit juice and is slightly drier than the Gold. The last is a 6 pack 12 oz Ginger cider that uses fresh ginger in the brew process. Come check out all three!
BFM Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien 2014 plus rum barrel version!* – BFM out of Switzerland makes some of the most complex and interesting ales we can get in TX. Their Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien series is their super malty & rich sour brown ale aged in oak barrels. We’ll be getting the 2014 vintage as well as a grand cru rum-barrel aged version! 11% ABV/Switzerland/Availability: limited/*Arriving Friday
Alvinne Kerasus 2014* – A sour ale aged in red wine barrels with sour cherries for the last 3 months. The base beer is the Morpheus Wild Undressed oud bruin we’ve had in stock before, and is one of the most sour things we’ve carried. This version is aged for 8 months on cherries. Yum! 6% ABV/Moen, Belgium/Beer Advocate 87/Availability: very limited/*Arriving Friday
Alvinne Podge* – Podge Belgium Imperial Stout is brewed according to an original Imperial Stout recipe at Picobreouwerij Alvinne. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned. Alvinne Sigma* – We’ve had this one in before, but it went so fast we figured we’d write about it again. It’s a traditional Flanders Oud Bruin that’s higher ABV than most Oud Bruins out there. Rich, dark, and plenty of sourness. 10% ABV/Moen, Belgium/Beer Advocate 87/Availability: limited/*Arriving Friday
Schmaltz Wishbone Session Double IPA – This one wins the award for tongue-in-cheek name for sure.
