This June, we’ve got Rocky Mountain Fever as we welcome in Odell Brewing as our Brewery of the Month. We’re all big fans of their beers around here, so for all of June, we’ll be offering their Drumroll APA, IPA, 90 Shilling Ale, and St. Lupulin for $7.99/6pk. And in celebration of Pride Month, Montucky Cold Snacks has released a limited edition Pride can. Portions of all sales go to help the Lifelong AIDS Alliance, so we’ll be selling them at $5.99/6pk all month. Come on in and stock up!
Also, on Saturday at the South Lamar location, we’ll have Pedernales Brewing for a unique event from 12-6pm. Along with sampling their two Robert Earl Keen beers, we’ll be home brewing a batch of their Front Porch on our very own front porch to coincide with a batch being brewed at their home location. Come watch the process as we talk about the steps to put this beer together; then a month later, when both beers are ready, we’ll have a tasting of both beers, side by side. This is a can’t-miss event for homebrewers and enthusiasts alike.
Finally, we’re just under two weeks out from what should be an educational and delicious evening with the Beer Museum. Called Style Night, we’ll be sampling five different Single Hop IPAs, all from different breweries, and tasting the nuances, similarities, and differences of style. This unique event will be hosted by WhichCraft’s own Lindsay Compton, a Certified Cicerone, providing in-depth knowledge about the hops used in each Single Hop IPA, and talking about hop anatomy, alpha and beta acids, and much more. This all goes down on June 13, 7-8pm, at WhichCraft Mueller. Follow the link to reserve your spot now. Confirmed beers so far: Martin House Cellarman’s Reserve IPA, Lone Pint Yellow Rose, Lone Pint Zythophile Lone Hop Series: Ella, and Last Stand Citra SMaSH.
