It’s Labor Day this weekend! That means school is back in session, lower temps are (hopefully) on the horizon, and it’s time to settle in for autumn. Zach and Jody both celebrated birthdays this week, so we’re keeping the good times rolling by offering our very first MEGA SALE in WhichCraft history. Oasis TX Brewing is one of the newest kids on the Austin scene and they’re kicking out sessionable styles that pair great with this time of year. We’ll be inviting in Hamilton from the brewery to sample out their London Homesick British Bitter, Slow Ride Pale Ale and Luchesa Lager. He may even have one special brew that isn’t in cans yet!

Prairie Cherry Funk* – Prairie’s latest offering is a farmhouse ale with cherries added. Expect sweetness but also tartness and a few funky farmhouse flavors thrown in. Prairie really doesn’t make anything bad, and we’re sure this one will go quickly. 7.5% ABV/Krebs, OK *Arriving Friday
BFM Ambree Au Tarry Suchong* – This is quite an interesting take on a smoked beer. BFM out of Switzerland takes smoked tea leaves and adds them to the beer to lend earthy and peaty smoked flavor. 6% ABV/Switzerland *Arriving Friday
Jolly Pumpkin Weizen Bam – Ruddy golden, with yeast driven esters of banana, spicy clove, and nutmeg all wrapped up with a generous dose of rapscillion delight. 4.5% ABV/Dexter, MI
Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere – An artisan golden farmhouse ale aged in oak barrels that is naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped. 4.5% ABV/Dexter, MI
Jolly Pumpkin Bam Noire – Dark, smooth, delicious. Aromas of worn leather and cool autumn nights. Notes of sweet plum and toasted raisin, hints of coffee and cacao. Lingering tart and refreshing finish. 4.3% ABV/Dexter, MI
La Trappe Oak Aged Quadrupel – Talk about a rich beer. The Trappist monks at Brewery Koeningshoeven really went wild when they took their quadrupel and aged it in oak barrels. This particular vintage was blended in October 2011 and was 70% whiskey barrels and 30% new French oak. Not to be missed. 10% ABV
Thai IPA Upslope – Brewed using Belgian Wit yeast, hopped like an American IPA and infused with seven Asian-inspired spices, this beer is far from traditional. The sharp, juicy citrus notes of the hops interplay with the unique Thai spice blend to create an unexpected, one of a kind refreshment. 6.5% ABV/Boulder, CO
Mission Brewing out of San Diego snuck up on the state with a very under-the-radar release. We’re happy to have 4 beers in stock, and they come in insane 32-oz cans. It’s like a mini growler!
Mission Cortez – A Belgian blonde ale, light, earthy and slightly spicy hop nose complemented by a lightly sweet pils malt character. 5% ABV/San Diego, CA
Mission IPA – A subtle malt character for a sturdy and balanced ale. An award winning interpretation of the popular style reflects both the history of the IPA and the distinctive and relatively modern American variation. Cascade and Centennial hops are employed generously and the result is an earthy ale that is most drinkable. 6.8% ABV/San Diego, CA
Mission Shipwrecked Double IPA – With intense hop character from the use of Cascade, CTZ, and Centennial hops, Shipwrecked drinks like an IPA but has the backbone of a double. Distinct, with depth and malt character perhaps not found in many other DIPA’s, it hits the spot. 9.25% ABV/San Diego, CA
Mission Conquistador – Pale golden color with soft lemon and melon esters and a bready malt body. Dry hopped with Centennial and experimental hops from the Yakima Valley. If you like a hoppy IPA but don’t always care for the higher alcohol, this session extra pale ale is perfect. 4.8% ABV/San Diego, CA
5 Stones Aloha Pina – What’s considered 5 Stones’ signature beer, this is a combo of pineapple, sliced jalapeno and roasted jalapeno on the backbone of an American golden ale. Quite unique. 6.43% ABV/Cibolo, TX
Harpoon Oktoberfest – The beer’s color is from a blend of Munich, chocolate, and pale malt. The thick head results in part from wheat malt added to the grist. Tettnang hops add a subtle spice nose that blends with the malt character. This beer is full-bodied, smooth, and malty. Willamette hops are used to provide a gentle bitterness and to balance any residual sweetness present from the malt. 5.3% ABV/Boston, MA
Great Divide Showdown Rye IPA – Showdown is an IPA reimagined. With a heaping addition of hardy rye, this copper-hued beauty delivers an unmistakable spicy rye character, while a burly dose of American hops evokes the piney aroma of untamed wilderness. Balanced, bold, and brave, Showdown claims the prize. 8.3% ABV/Denver, CO
Alaskan Pumpkin Porter – This imperial porter pumpkin beer combines the robust, full-bodied style of a porter with a crazy amount of pumpkin flavor. 7% ABV/Juneau, AK
Adelbert’s Flying Monks – Caramel and toffee aroma give way to a robust fruitiness from the Belgian yeast esters. Notes of toffee, cinnamon and cardamom. Rich, high ABV and round mouth feel. 10.9% ABV/Austin, TX
Lexington KY Pumpkin Barrel – Kentucky Pumpkin Barrel Ale is a barrel-aged ale brewed with Kentucky-sourced pumpkin, richly spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. As the ale is aged in fresh bourbon barrels, the sweetness of caramel and vanilla are imparted upon the brew and complement its spicier base. 10% ABV/Lexington, KY
Martin House River House – The River House Saison is something refreshing and easy drinking, but with an exciting and fascinating flavor. A special yeast blend created by Martin House gives this beer hints pepper and earthiness. Plenty of flavor and aroma hops yield a floral and citrusy essence. 5% ABV/Fort Worth, TX
Martin House Pretzel Stout – This 6.5% abv stout is as black as oil and is brewed with over six pounds of crushed sourdough pretzels per barrel. The salty fingerprint of the pretzels works with the sweet and roasty flavors of the chocolate malted & roasted barley to give this beer a flavor that is much greater than the sum of its parts. 6.5% ABV/Fort Worth, TX
Lakewood Punkel – Is there a better fall treat than pumpkin pie? Nope, which is why there are so many pumpkin beers out there. Lakewood’s twist: Punkel has no pumpkin. It’s a dark, malty German lager enhanced by cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and ginger. Perfect for weather only Texans would consider “fall.” 5.5% ABV/Garland, TX
Lakewood Lager –Lakewood has taken old world Vienna-Style lager and reintroduced it to beer lovers. Subtle caramel aromas, a coppery pour and a light malty sweetness paired with noble hop bitterness set this beer apart. 4.6% ABV/Garland, TX
Lakewood Hop Trapp – This IPA has more in common with its Trappist cousins than with the face shredding IPA’s of the west coast. While there is still a healthy bitter backbone and floral hop notes, this IPA is decidedly malty and complex with the addition of Belgian yeast. It’s the thinkin’ man’s IPA. 6.4% ABV/Garland, TX
Virtue Cidery out of Michigan is a very highly rated craft cidery started by the old brewmaster for 20 years at Goose Island. He brings with him a hefty craft pedigree and his ciders are well balanced and made with excellent quality apples. They just launched in Texas and we have 3 varities in stock.
Virtue Mitten – The Mitten is a Winter cider, a blend of last seasons best, aged in bourbon barrels, with the new season’s fresh pressed apple juice. Straight cider, aged for 3 seasons, finds notes of vanilla, caramel and charred American oak, balanced with the best of the orchard, over-ripe apples and their sweet, tart, earthy juice. 6.8% ABV/Fennville, MI
Virtue Ledbury – The Ledbury Cider is an English-style medium cider crafted by Virtue with Tom Oliver, one of the world’s best cider makers. It’s not too dry, not too sweet. A blend of old world bittersweet apples and new world heirloom varieties are fermented with native yeast, adding a bit of farminess to the ripe apple nose. 6.0% ABV/Fennville, MI
Virtue Cidre Nouveau – Virtue “borrowed” an idea from Beaujolais producers for this fall seasonal – Beaujolais Nouveaeu, specifically. They picked the freshest fruit to make the freshest, youngest cider possible. The first release of the 2013 harvest. French, dry, sparkling, and a perfect new tradition at your Thanksgiving table. To be released each year on the second Thursday of November. 6.0% ABV/Fennville, MI
Sam Adams Fat Jack – This rich and luscious brew indulges in flavor with over 28Ibs of pumpkin per barrel, for a full bodied sweetness and deep russet color. Classic pumpkin pie spices of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice ignite a warmth and spark that’s deepened by an undercurrent of roasty smoked malts. 8.5% ABV/Boston, MA
Kasteel Rouge* – Kasteel Rouge is principally a “blend” of two artisanal, quality products, Kasteel Donker and a cherry liqueur. The beer was launched in 2008 and is the “fruitiest” offering within the Kasteel beer range. 8% ABV/Ingelmunster, Belgium *Arriving Friday
Clown Shoes Muffin Top* – Muffin Top combines the attributes of a Belgian Tripel with a huge burst of American hops. Intense flavors from the Belgian yeast, reminiscent of candied fruits, mix with the hop bitterness and sweet orange peel to create a unique take on a Belgian-Style ale. 10% ABV/Ipswich, MA *Arriving Friday
No Label 11 Amp IPA* – This one goes to 11! This is No Label’s take on a west coast IPA, so it has less malt character and more hops, the majority of which are added in the final minutes of the boil or later. Drinks dry but not too bitter. 7.2% ABV/Katy, TX *Arriving Friday
Scotch Silly* – This is the base beer for the Port-Barrel aged version we also carry. It offers a finely wooded nose hinting at hazelnut, and is therefore distinct from traditional British scotches. It has a more rounded taste letting a discreetly full-bodied bitterness come to the fore, and will naturally seduce you. 8% ABV/Silly, Belgium *Arriving Friday
